Companies that bring home the gold
In the spirit of the Winter Olympics, we chose to honor the companies that had the greatest number of new job opportunities on Indeed during the month of January; awarding gold, silver and bronze to the top three. These winners are not hesitant to hire in a tough market and lead the way for other companies.

With more than 7,000 new jobs listed in January, JCPenney brings home the gold for offering a variety of jobs across their many national locations. Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) wins the silver medal for having more than 5,000 new listings in scientific, engineering and technical areas. Earning the bronze is AT&T with more than 4,000 new positions in both retail and corporate operations. Honorable mentions include JP Morgan Chase, Sears, UnitedHealth Group, BAE Systems, Comcast, L-3 Communications and Hilton, for providing more than 1,000 jobs nationwide.
